SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a more info result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area every day. The provider point developed for intervention activities a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to sassa empower the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
